Informal Resolutions

The Chair of the Independent Complaints Panel has the discretion to allow complaints to be considered through an Informal Resolution Process.

The Informal Resolution Process provides an opportunity for a producer to take responsibility for their product/promotion if they agree that it is problematic under the Code. If the Chair and the producer agree, the producer must work with the Advisory Service to take appropriate remedial action to address the issue.
